Novice Member – A person with no previous curling experience. (1) Novices will enjoy discounted dues for their first 2 full seasons in the club with the same benefits as Unlimited memberships. (2) New members joining on and after January 1, the following curling season will be considered their Novice 1st Year. Equity Member - An Annual Member becomes an Equity Member after the initiation fee is paid and notice is received by the CCC Board. Generally, the initial opportunity to become an Equity Member comes after two seasons in the club. Equity Members have equity in the Chicago Curling Club, voting rights and are eligible to be an officer or board member of the club.

$750 one-time initiation (“Equity”) fees apply to all approved for Regular Membership after 3 years, or after 1 year of Annual membership for experienced/transfer members. Other fees and assessments may be billed at the discretion of the CCC Board. Initial opportunity comes after 1 year of Annual Membership (though, generally after 3 years.) In all cases, refer to the CCC bylaws for specifics.
