The league has two events; the Fall League and the Winter League. The teams in each event play a round robin, leading to a play-off in early January for the Fall League and in March for the Winter League. Games are 6 ends and are usually played on Wednesdays starting at 10:30 a.m. Games are followed by lunch and the usual broom stacking. Any two members can sign up to be on the same team and the balance of the team is assigned by the League Commissioner and his committee. All seniors who want to curl will be accommodated.
Lunch follows the conclusion of the SCL games on Wednesdays at approximately 12:30 p.m. Orders from the menu should be placed by 12:15 p.m. The cost and menu are posted on the Senior bulletin board. All seniors and their guests are welcome.
The Wisconsin Senior Curling Association has accepted two teams from Seniors of CCC into their traveling league. Chicago competes in the southern division which includes Racine, Blackhawk, Kettle, Wauwatosa, and Milwaukee. Further information is posted on the Senior bulletin board for those interested in participating.
