CO McARTHUR (AM) & 50/50

We need a minimum of 4 teams to complete this event and award pins. You may assemble your own teams, which may consist of ANY 4 players in ANY position, with at least ONE a RATED VICE OR HIGHER.
The winner gains an automatic entry into our Gloamin’ Gael Invitational bonspiel, held Jan 4-6, 2013. At least 2 members of your team must be available to curl in the bonspiel to retain their entry.
Once the Co McArthur event is completed, it is planned to open the time to the 50/50 event and include any interested men. Women will continue to Skip, and teams will include men and women in alternate positions, if possible. All women signed up for the Monday AM Co McArthur will be automatically included in the 50/50 unless advised otherwise. We will have pins for this event, too. (by nature, this event will be modified as needed. )

Named for a charter member of the Heathers, this event consists of balanced teams, in which the Vice skips will switch positions with the Skip. This provides an excellent opportunity for vices to learn more about the art of skipping a team. The skips are encouraged to be available as a resource and teacher to the entire team.
Sign up as individuals, the committee will be assembling teams based on ratings.

This is a unrated competitive event named for long-time curler and still active club member Co McArthur in honor of her 90th birthday.

Celebrate another season of good curling and good friendship with some good holiday cheer! Please bring a donation for the Northfield Township Food Pantry. Suggested items are: baking supplies (sugar, flour, salt, baking powder/soda, yeast, spices, sprinkles, chocolate chips and cocoa...) Gift cards from Jewel, and Dominick's are also appreciated. A light dinner will be served. Cost: free!! Participate in the White Elephant Gift Exchange by bringing a whacky gift that needs a home other than yours ;-) All current and former Heathers are invited. Guests are also welcome. ALL-AMERICAN - AM & 50/50

The All American is a rated event, sponsored by the United States Women’s Curling Association. As in the past, men may join the USWCA and are thus eligible to curl in this event. We will run the 50/50 jointly with the All American on Monday mornings and invite all interested men to sign up. Pins are provided by the USWCA and will be awarded to all winners, although only one USWCA pin per winner. Curlers may thus play in both the Mon AM and Thurs PM events. Balanced teams will be formed by the committee.

The All American is a rated event, sponsored by the United States Women’s Curling Association. Pins are provided by the USWCA and will be awarded to all winners, although only one USWCA pin per winner . Curlers may thus play in both the Mon AM and Thurs PM events. Balanced teams will be formed by the committee.
Due to the Men’s Bonspiel, we will curl on WEDNESDAY, JAN 9, NOT THURS JAN 10. Following this Wed. game, the Men’s club championship will be played. We will also have an opportunity to greet early arrivals for the Bonspiel. Also, due to CCC hosting the ILLINOIS CLUB PLAYDOWNS, there will be NO curling THURS Jan 17. You are encouraged to come cheer the participants.
